Wrinkles form over time due to a number of reasons. These include hormonal changes, environmental damage and natural loss of collagen associated with aging. Botox is used to relax muscle that commonly cause crow’s feet, frown lines and forehead wrinkles. Botox is commonly combined with dermal fillers. A dermal filler is a injection of hylauronic acid which bonds with water to plump and fill in hollow areas that suffer from a loss of volume.

MOST COMMONLY TREATS
Our Vitamin IV drips are specially formulated solutions delivered intravenously. This allows our nurses and doctors to safely deliver vitamins, minerals, electrolytes and fluids into the bloodstream.
Repeat treatments are often sought by clients on a 2-3 week basis. Most often, clients report noticeable effects after 3 treatments. Whether it’s to boost your immunity, hydrate, or restore your youthful skin appearance our medical team can help to find the right solution for you.
Ultherapy is the number one non-invasive, non surgical skin-tightening procedure. It is often used to treat the face, brow, jaw, neck and chest.
Ultherapy uses ultrasound energy to penetrate deep into the skin producing heat which jump starts the process of producing new collage and elastin fibres. By doing so you are left with a younger, tighter, firmer skin.
Commonly presenting itself as persistent redness and visible blood vessels in the face, Rosacea is a very common skin condition. Alma’s Intense Pulsed Light allows us to effectively treat the redness, broken capillaries, and blemishes diminishing the visible signs of this skin condition. It works by destroying the capillaries through heat which are then reabsorbed into the body over the following weeks.
Platelet Rich Plasma or (PRP) therapy is a non-surgical option for any type of client looking to stimulate hair growth from common hair loss conditions.
PRP is obtained by one of our medical professionals drawing a small amount of blood. This blood is then spun in a centrifuge. The resulting liquid is separated into three layers: platelet-poor plasma (PPP), platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and red blood cells. The Highly concentrated PRP in then injected back into the scalp.
By being injected back into the treatment area we are able to deliver nutrients and stimulate healing, helping to stimulate blood flow and new hair growth.
Platelet Rich Plasma or (PRP) therapy is a non-surgical option for both male and female clients looking to stimulate hair growth from common hair loss conditions. It is also frequently used to stimulate collagen and elastin production in order to help achieve a younger and more youthful appearance. PRP has also been shown to improve and diminish the appearance of scars including, but not limited to both acne and post surgical scars. PRP uses your body’s own concentrated platelets which act to stimulate cell growth and healing within the body.
Alma’s Clear lift has been proven to effectively treat both deep and superficial pigmented lesions. Q-Switched Nd-YAG 1064 laser works by causing vibrations and disrupting the pigmentation embedded in the skin. The body’s immune system then works to heal the treated area and fade away the pigmentation leading to an all over clear and more even skin tone.
Onychomycosis or more commonly known as nail fungus is a common fungal infection affecting individuals of all ages. By treating the nail bed with our Q-Switched ND-YAG laser we aim to deposit enough heat to disrupt fungal growth resulting in clear, new growth of the nail. Laser is a great alternative to common medications used to treat fungal nail infections.
Microneedling, unlike common skin-resurfacing lasers and surgeries, is used to resurface the skin with minimal downtime. By using a FDA approved microneedling device, we are able to create tiny microscopic columns in the treatment zone. This triggers the body’s own natural healing response to produce collage and elastin. It helps to diminishes the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and scars, giving you a more youthful, even complexion and skin tone.
Microdermabrasion is a gentle, non-surgical procedure used to resurface and exfoliate the skin. Microdermabrasion combines vacuum technology with a gentle exfoliating surface to clean debris from the treatment area and clean away dead skin cells. In turn it promotes new skin cell turnover over, can help to shrink pore size, diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while evening out skin tone.
Alma’s laser can treat a wide variety of colors. The high powered 1064 nm: ND-YAG laser can successfully treat unwanted dark colored tattoos including Blue, Black and Green, while the 532 nm wavelength can successfully treat unwanted colored tattoos including red, orange and yellow. The laser works by breaking apart the ink deposited into the skin. Your immune system then works to rid the body of the particles in turn causing the tattoo to fade. ND-YAG can be used safely to treat all skin types.
Alma’s SHR hair removal technology can safely be used to treat all skin types including those with recent sun exposure. SHR works by heating the dermis in the treated area to a point which damages the hair follicle. This in turn prevents further hair growth from forming. Multiple treatments are needed in order to achieve a 85-95% reduction.
Kenalog is a commonly used steroid injection to treat hair loss, cystic acne, and keloid scars. Once the corticosteroid is injected into the scalp it works by decreasing inflammation surrounding the hair follicle. This allows for better blood flow in the area, and vitamin and nutrient absorption.
Typically used to treat Alopecia Areata, 3-6 sessions are required. These sessions are spaced 4-6 weeks apart. After the hair loss has stabilized, new hair growth is typically evident 6 weeks after treatment but can vary from client to client.
Kenalog injections work great on their own but combination therapy might be recommended based on the severity of hair loss. Kenalog injections pair well with our Platelet Rich Plasma treatment.
